Mechanical goods Lift / Vertical Reciprocating Conveyor (VRC)
A Vertical Reciprocating Conveyor (VRC) is a type of
material handling equipment designed to move goods
and materials between different vertical levels, such as
floors of a building or levels within a warehouse. Unlike
traditional elevators, VRCs are specifically engineered for
material transport rather than people, making them an
ideal solution for various industrial applications.
Type Of Vertical Reciprocating Conveyor (VRC) :
1. Two Post VRCs
These have a platform supported by vertical guide rails
and are ideal for moving large or heavy loads upto 2000
Kgs & height Up to 20 Meter.
2. Four Post VRCs
These are designed for particularly heavy loads upto
2500Kgs-5000Kgs and height upto 30 meter with offering
additional stability and support. ENTRY/ EXIT Possible in all
four directions.
Key Features Of VRCs:
- Durability : VRCs are built to withstand heavy loads and frequent use, making
them
suitable for industrial environments.
- Versatility : They can handle a wide range of materials, including pallets,
containers, and
oversized items.
- Space Efficiency : VRCs require less space compared to inclined conveyor
systems, as
they move materials vertically.
Applications Of VRCs :
- Warehouses and Distribution Centers : For moving goods between floors,
streamlining the
logistics process.
- Manufacturing Facilities : To transport raw materials or finished products
between
production levels.
- Retail and Commercial Buildings : To facilitate the movement of inventory,
especially in
multi-level stores.
- Automotive and Aviation Industries : For handling parts and components
efficiently at
different assembly stages.
